Job for a Cowboy is a death metal band from Glendale, Arizona, US. The current line-up is Jonny Davy, Brent Riggs, Bobby Thompson, Jon Rice, Al Glassman. The group was formed in 2003 but the debut album Genesis was released only in 2007. It was positively reviewed and reached #54 on Billboard 200. The group took part in several festivals like Download Festival in Donington Park, England and Sounds of the Underground festival. The group shared the stage with Amon Amarth, Chimaira, GWAR, Shadows Fall, Megadeth, Children of Bodom, In Flames and High on Fire. In May 2009 Job for a Cowboy announced that they completed recording their second album Ruination and you can already download it in mp3 from our site. The New York Times describes the band as “an Arizona band with a guttural, brute-force sound descended (indirectly) from hard-core punk”.
