James Hillier Blount (known as James Blunt) was born on February 22, 1974 in Tidworth, Wiltshire, England. He’s an English singer-songwriter performing in pop rock and soft rock genres. Before beginning his music career he was in army and served in NATO being in Kosovo. He rose to fame in 2005 after the release of his debut album Back to Bedlam which spawned the hit single number one “You’re beautiful”, which you can download from our site in mp3. James Blunt’s album became 10 x platinum in the UK and 15 x platinum in Ireland. He sold more about 12 million copies around the world. His next studio album All the Lost Souls (2007) got the success as well but not so big as his debut album. None of the singles reached the top 10 of any charts. During his career he collaborated with French rapper Sinik and with Italian singer Laura Pausini.
