Isaac Hayes, birth name Isaac Lee Hayes, Jr. was an American rhythm and blues singer-songwriter, actor and musician, born on August 20, 1942 in Covington, Tennessee, U.S. and died on August 10, 2008 in Memphis, Tennessee, U.S. He was a very influential artist and he was totally recognized by the music industry society. He was inducted in the Songwriters Hall of Fame and one of his songs where he is credited “Soul Man” was inducted in the Grammy Hall of Fame, Rock and Roll hall of Fame and in the RIAA list “Songs of the Century”.
