Interpol is an American post-punk revival and indie-rock band formed in New York City, New York, the United States in 1998. The band’s current line-up composes of Paul Banks (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Carlos Dangler (bass guitar, keyboard), Sam Foraging (drums, percussion) and of Daniel Kessler (guitar, vocals). The band’s sound can be compared to such bands like Joy Division and The Chameleons. Interpol’s music has some features, the most notable one is using staccato. The main lyrics themes are love and erotic having mostly tragical touch. There’s no any chief composer in the band so all the music is collaboration between all members. The band has released three studio albums. The last one Our Love to Admire was released by major label Capitol Records. The album received critical acclaim and continued band’s success. They headlined one of the days at Lollapalooza festival in Chicago. You can download the last album by Interpol in mp3 from our site.
