Indian fusion music band Indian Ocean from Delhi, India, was formed in 1990. The band comprises Susmit Sen, Asheem Chakravarthy, Amit Kilam and Rahul Ram. The band's music is often considered as "Indo-rock fusion with jazz-spiced rhythms". In 1993, they released their self-titled debut album, which produced several singles such as "Village Damsel", "No Comebacks", "Going To ITO", "Brisk Lonely Walk", "Torrent", "Out of the Blues" and "Melancholic Ecstasy". The album, Indian Ocean, was recorded in just ten days. And now, you may download this album by Indian Ocean in mp3 from our site. The band's following album, Desert Rain, was released in 1997. As the band's debut album Desert Rain also received good critical reviews. With this album the became very popular among young people. So it is not surprise, that in 1998, they played at several institutes such as Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (IT-BHU) and Varanasi & Jadavpur University (Jadavpur University).
