iiO is an American dance and house music project created in New York City in 2001. Originally, it composed of two members – Nadia Ali and Markus Moser. Ali left the duo in 2005 in order to begin her solo career and currently iiO composes of Moser only. The group’s name was taken from Sony Vaio laptop as the duo created much of their music on it at the beginning. They changed “Vaio” a bit to avoid legal troubles with Sony, thus the group’s name appeared. The group has released only one album – Poetica. The album was released in 2005 through Made Records. The released had been postponed several times. The album was supported by many singles. The debut single “Rapture” was a true breakthrough for the band. It reached number 2 on the U.S. Dance and number 2 on the UK Singles chart. You can download iiO’s album Poetica in mp3 from our site.
