Hole is an American alternative rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1989. The band disbanded in 2002, however they reunited in 2009 and they are still active. The band was founded by Courtney Love (vocals, rhythm guitar) and by Eric Erlandson (songwriter, lead guitar). The current line-up composes of Courtney Love – lead vocals, rhythm guitar, Micko Larkin – lead guitar, Shawn Dailey – bass and Stu Fisher – drums. The band reached considerable success during the 1990s. They released two very successful albums Live Through This and Celebrity Skin. Both were certifies Platinum in the United States. Some of the most popular hits of that time are "Doll Parts", "Celebrity Skin", and "Malibu". After the reunion in 2009, the band released a new album Nobody’s Daughter.
