Héctor Delgado Román, better known as his stage name Héctor el Father was born on September 4, 1979 in Carolina, Puerto Rico. He is a Puerto Rican reggaeton artist who began career in 1996. In 2008, he announced about his retirement from music industry and even showed some intentions to become a pastor. Hector El Father plans to give all his farewell concerts until May 2010. During his career he was performing as part of duo and as a solo artist. He formed a very successful duo with Tito "El Bambino" and they became the first reggaeton artists to sell out the show. The duo split in 2005 and each of the performers embarked on a solo career. Being a solo artists he has released five studio albums and the last album “El Juicio Final” was released in 2008 (it’s a Christian album).
