American metalcore band Haste the Day from Carmel, Indiana, was formed in 2001. The band's current line-up comprises Stephen Keech (Lead Vocals), Michael Murphy (Bass, Clean Vocals), Dave Krysl (Guitar) and Giuseppe Antonio Capolupo (Drums). In late 2001, they released their debut EP, That They May Know You, which did not have any commercial success, but nevertheless brought the band a contract with Solid State Records. Two years later, they released their debut album, Burning Bridges. They achieved mainstream success in 2005 with their second breakthrough album, When Everything Falls, which reached number 175 on the US Billboard 200.
