Girls Aloud is an English pop girl band formed in London, England in 2002. The band members are Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh. The band was formed during the ITV1 show Popstar: The Rivals. The group entered the Guinness World Records as “Most successful Reality TV Group”. They also hold the record for "Most Consecutive Top Ten Entries in the UK by a Female Group" in the 2008 edition. The group has released five studio albums and all of them became Platinum in the UK and in Ireland except for Tangled Up which is certified Gold in Ireland. The band’s singles number one are Sound of the Underground, I’ll Stand By You, Walk This Way (with Sugarbabes), and The Promise. The group has released The Sound of Girls Aloud compilation album and it has also became Platinum not only in UK but in the whole European Union.
