Biography: Giles, Giles and Fripp was an English rock band existing in the late 1960s. The band was formed in Bournemouth, Dorset, England in 1967 when two brothers Peter Giles and Michael Giles decided to form a band and put an advertisement in the newspaper seeking for a singing keyboardist. Robert Fripp who was a non-singing guitarist responded and was taken in the band anyway. In april 1968 the band released their debut album titled The Cheerful Insanity of Giles, Giles and Fripp. You can download this album by Giles, Giles and Fripp in mp3 from our site. Later two other members joined the band, they were Judy Dyble on vocals and Ian McConald on saxophone, clarinet and flute. The band recorded a lot at home and their label Deram Records rejected their next studio sessions as the debut album was sold very poor. The band split in 1968 and Michael Giles, Ian McDonald and Robert Fripp formed the first line-up of King Crimson
