Ghostface Killah, also spelled as Ghostface Killer, Ghost Face Killah, or abbreviated GFK, birth name Dennis Coles was born on May 9, 1970 in Staten Island, New York, the United States. He is an American rapper and Wu-Tang clan member. After the Wu-Tang clan achieved the popularity many of its members went on to pursue a solo career and Ghostface Killah is not an exception. He has released 7 studio albums, 4 compilation albums and 13 singles. The breakthrough to the mainstream success happened with the release of his debut solo album “Ironman”. The album was released in 1996 and reached the Platinum certificate. It became also number 2 on the Billboard 200 and number 1 on the Top R&B/Hip—Hop Albums.
