Biography: Gaelic Storm is an American Celtic rock band coming from Santa Monica, California, the United States and formed in 1996. The current band’s line-up composes of Patrick Murphy (accordion, spoons, bodhrán, lead vocals), Steve Twigger (guitar, bouzouki, mandolin, lead vocals), Ryan Lacey (djembe, doumbek, surdo, cajón, vocals, various percussion), Peter Purvis (Highland bagpipes, Uillean pipes, DegerPipes, whistle)and of Jessie Burns (fiddle, vocals). The band is highly acclaimed and their music combines traditional Irish and Scottish sounds with original Celtic and Celtic rock melodic line. They began their career from performing in local pubs. The band rose to prominence appearing in the film Titanic where they performed "An Irish Party in Third Class". After that, the band embarked on a tour and played gigs not only the United States, but also in Canada, France, Japan and United Kingdom. The band has released seven albums.
