American post-hardcore band from From First to Last (also known as FFTL) Valdosta, Georgia, was formed in 2002. The band comprises Matt Good (lead vocals, guitars), Travis Richter (guitars, vocals), Matt Manning (bass, vocals), Chris Lent (keyboards, programming) and Derek Bloom (drums, percussion). They emerged on the American post-hardcore scene in 2003 with their debut EP Aesthetic. In 2004, they released their first album, Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Body Count, which yielded two singles such as "Ride the Wings of Pestilence" and " Note to Self". In 2006, they released their most successful album, Heroine. It reached number 25 on the Billboard 200 and received very good reviews from critics. In 2008, they released their third self-titled album which peaked at number 81 on the Billboard 200.
