Béla Anton Leoš Fleck, better known as Béla Fleck is an American banjo player born on July 10, 1958 in New York City, New York, the United States. He is known best of all for his performances with the band Béla Fleck and the Flecktones. Other band members are Victor Wooten (bass), Jeff Coffin (saxophone) and Future Man (percussion). Fleck was named after famous composers –Hungarian Béla Bartok, Austrian Anton Webern and Czech Leoš Janáček. During his career, he performed as solo artist and with other musicians. He was also a part of music groups, like Tasty Licks, Spectrum, The New Grass Revival. He collaborated with incredible number of artists like Sam Bush, Phish, Dave Matthews Band, Bruce Hornsby, Bernie Williams, and many others.
