Biography: American progressive rock and post-hardcore band Finch from Temecula, California, was formed in 1999. The band comprises Nate Barcalow, Randy Strohmeyer, Alex Linares, Drew Marcogliese and Daniel Wonacott. Finch rose to fame in 2002 with their debut album, What It Is to Burn, which you may download in mp3 from our site. Daryl Palumbo from New York band Glassjaw makes a guest appearance on two songs, "Grey Matter" and "Project Mayhem". The album produced three singles, "New Beginnings", "What It Is to Burn" and "Letters to You". What It Is to Burn was produced by Mark Trombino who has produced albums for Jimmy Eat World amongst others. The album also received mixed reviews from critics, but was generally well-received. After touring parts of the world, the band went back into the studio, writing and recording new material for their second album. Their second album, Say Hello to Sunshine, was released in 2005.
