Fear Factory is an American metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1989. The band’s current line-up composes of Burton C. Bell – lead vocals, Dino Cazares – guitar, Byron Stroud – bass, Gene Hoglan – drums. The began to pioneer the combination of different metal styles like industrial metal, death metal, groove metal, thrash metal and nu metal. During their career, they have released seven studio albums and quite a number of singles and remixes. They also overcame two splits and finally the band reformed again in 2009. The band’s two most commercially successful albums are Demanufacture (1995) and Obsolete (1998).
