Biography: American post-rock band Explosions in the Sky from Texas, was formed in 1999. The band's current line-up comprises Munaf Rayani (guitar), Mark Smith (guitar), Michael James (bass and guitar) and Chris Hrasky (drums). They emerged on the American instrumental post-rock scene in 2000 with their debut album, How Strange, Innocence, which contained seven tracks. This album also brought the band a deal with Temporary Residence Limited record label. In 2001, they released their second album, Those Who Tell the Truth Shall Die, Those Who Tell the Truth Shall Live Forever, which produced the singles such as "The Moon Is Down", "Have You Passed Through This Night?" and "A Poor Man's Memory".
