Europe is a hard rock band from Upplands Väsby, Sweden, formed in 1979 by vocalist Joey Tempest and guitarist John Norum. The current line-up consists of Joey Tempest, John Norum, John Levén, Mic Michaeli and Ian Haugland. The group rose to fame in 1986 releasing their album The Final Countdown which had a big commercial success. You can download it in mp3 from our site. The main same-titled song from the album was a real massive hit. The group was one of the most popular rock acts in 80s, having sold about 4 million albums in the US and more then 12 million copies worldwide. Other hits of the group are Carrie, Cherokee. In 1992 the group broke up, but in 2003 they announced the official reunion. Europe plans to release their new album in 2009 and the Last Look at Eden EP has been already released and you can download it from our site.
