| Biography: |
Era is the New Age music project created by French composer Eric Lévi in 1996. The music is the mixture of Gregorian chants with contemporary electronic arrangements. Era Lyrics are not based on any real language but it looks like pseudo-Latin and the lyrics is based on the beliefs of an old French sect called The Cathars. During the live shows the group wears medieval clothes and armor. The band members are Eric Lévi, Guy Protheroe, Lena Jinnegren, Eric Geisen, Florence Dedam, Murielle Lefebvre, Chester Thompson, Lee Sklar, Phil Collins, Daryl Stuermer and Irene Bustamante. Era’s most well-known compositions are Ameno, Enae volare Mezzo, Divano which you can download in mp3 from our site as well as the last Era’s release Reborn. When Era released their debut album he became the biggest French music export of that time.
