English hard rock, punk rock and country singer-songwriter Elvis Costello (birth name Declan Patrick MacManus) was born on 25 August 1954, in London, England. He was born Declan Patrick MacManus in St Mary's Hospital, London, the son of Lillian and Ross MacManus, a musician and bandleader. With a musically inclined father (his father sang with The Joe Loss Orchestra), his first broadcast recording was alongside his dad in a television commercial for R. White's Lemonade ("I'm a Secret Lemonade Drinker"). His father wrote and sang the song, and he provided backing vocals. In 1977, he released his debut album, My Aim Is True, which spawned two singles, "Alison" and "Less Than Zero". And now, you may download this album by Elvis Costello in mp3 form our site. In 2003, this album was ranked number 168 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
