Eisley is an American rock band formed in Tyler, Texas, the United States in 1997. The band composes of four siblings and of their cousin. They are Chauntelle DuPree (lead guitar and on occasion vocals), Sherri DuPree (rhythm guitar, vocals), Weston DuPree (drums), Stacy DuPree (keyboard, vocals, guitar) and Garron DuPree (bass). Originally the band was founded under the name The Towheads, later it was changed for Moss Eisley, after Mos Eisley, a town in the Star Wars film. When the band singed their first deal with a record label in 2003 some worries about legal problems rose and the band decided to drop the word Moss. The band was signed by Warner Bros. Awards in 2003 and won Best New Artist from the Dallas Observer music awards the dame year. The band has released quite a number of EPs and two studio albums.
