Biography: Eisbrecher is a German Neue Deutsche Härte band formed in Fürstenfeldbruck, Germany in 2003. The band was formed by two former Megaherz members – Alex Wesselsky and Noel Pix. The band’s line-up composes of Alexx Wesselsky (vocals), Noel Pix (lead guitar), Jürgen Plangger (rhythm guitar), "Max "Maximator" Schuar (keyboards, programming), René Greil (drums, percussion) and of Olli Pohl (bass guitar). The band’s name means “Icebreaker” in German. Their imagery is somehow connected with cold and sailors; their mottoes are “Es Wird Kalt’” (It’s getting cold) and Ahoi (Ahoy). The band has reached a significant popularity not only in Germany but abroad as well. They played gigs in Austria, Switzerland, Russia and Netherlands. The band has released three studio albums.
