Eiffel 65 was an Italian electronic dance band formed in Turin, Italy in 1998. The band members were Jeffrey Jey(Gianfranco Randone – vocals, bass), Maury Lobina (Maurizio Lobina – keyboards, gutiar) and Gabry Ponte (Gabriele Ponte - producer). The band broke up in 2005 when Gabry Ponte decided to pursue a solo career. Two left members went on to form duo and took other stage name. Eiffel 65 released three studio albums. The most popular one was their debut effort Europop that was released in 1999 by Uptown Records. The album received 2 x Multi-Platinum certificate in the United States and reached Platinum status in Canada. The album spawned two mega-hits “Blu (Da Ba Dee)” and “Move Your Body” which reached number one all around the world – in Russia, Australia, Israel, and in most of European countries.
