Eamon, birth name Eamon Jonathan Doyle was born on September 19, 1983 in Staten Island, New York City, New York, the United States. He is an American pop and R&B singer-songwriter of Italian and Irish descent. His father was a member of a doo-wop group and Eamon began touring with his father since the age of nine. When he was fifteen he was noticed by producer Milk Dee (who worked with Mary J. Blige and Janet Jackson). Eventually Eamon was signed to Jive Records. He released his debut single Fuck It (I Don’t Want You Back) and got the popularity very quickly. The song was welcomed on urban, pop and rhythmic radio stations. The single reached the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100. The album followed the single release and single helped his debut LP to debut at the top ten of the Billboard 200.
