Dokken is an American heavy metal and hard rock band formed in 1978 in Los Angeles, California. The band was founded by vocalist Don Dokken. The current band’s line-up composes of Dokken on vocals, Jon Levin on guitar, Barry Sparks on bass, backing vocals and of Mick Brown on drums and backing vocals. The band has released 10 studio albums, 6 compilation albums and 14 singles. The peak of their commercial success was in the 80s when the band toured with Scorpions and even collaborated with them recording back vocals as band’s vocalist Klaus Meine had problems with his voice. The band’s most successful album is Back for the Attack (1987). The album was certified 2 x Platinum by the RIAA.
