American rap band Do or Die from Hillside, Illinois, was founded in 1995. The band's current line-up comprises AK-47, Belo Zero and N.A.R.D. They quickly gained popularity in the mid-1990 with their breakthrough hit single, "Po Pimp" (feat. Twista), which reached number one on the U.S. Rap, number 15 on the U.S. R&B and number 22 on the U.S. Hot 100. At the same year, they released their breakthrough debut album, Picture This, which spawned the singles such as "Playa Like Me and You" (featuring Johnny P.) and "Promise".
