Die Fantastischen Vier, also known as Fanta 4 are a German hip-hop group formed n 1986 in Stuttgart, Germany. The group is one of the first acts who began rap in German language. The band’s line-up composes of Michael Beck a.k.a. Dee Jot Hausmarke, Thomas Dürr a.k.a. Hausmeister, Michael B. Schmidt a.k.a. Smudo and Andreas Rieke a.k.a And.Ypsilon. the band became the first German hip-hop formation that could broke up the charts. Their hit “Die da?!” from the album 4 Gewinnt topped charts in Austria and Switzerland and reached number 2 in Germany. The group was very popular during the 1990s. The album 4:99, released in 1999 topped the charts in German speaking countries. The latest album Für Dich Immer Noch Fanta Sie came out in 2010.
