Grammy award winning Canadian pop, r&b, classical, gospel and adult-contemporary singer, songwriter, record producer and composer David Foster was born on November 1, 1949, in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. He began his music career as a keyboardist for the pop and soul band Skylark. This band achieved mainstream success in 1972 with their biggest hit, “Wildflower”. Later, he founded a pop rock band Attitudes. In 1986, he released his debut self-titled album, which brought him he Juno Award for "Instrumental Artist of the Year" and the Grammy Award nomination for "Best Pop Instrumental Performance". In 1991, he released his most successful album, Rechordings, which produced several singles such as "After The Love Has Gone", "Glory Of Love Listen", "Who's Holding Donna Now" and "Voices That Care".
