Biography: American folk and folk rock musician and singer-songwriter David Bromberg was born on September 19, 1945, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is well known for his collaboration with various famous artists such as Jerry Jeff Walker, Willie Nelson, Jorma Kaukonen, Jerry Garcia, and Bob Dylan among others. His music style is often considered as a combination of bluegrass, blues, folk, jazz, country and rock & roll sounds. In the late 1960s, he signed to Columbia Records and began recording his debut album. His self-titled debut record was released in 1971 and it was praised by critics. He continued the success with his following album, Wanted Dead or Alive, which included the singles, "Holdup", "Someone Else's Blues", "Danger Man" and "Main Street Moan".
