American stand-up comedian and film actor Dane Cook (birth name Dane Jeffrey Cook) was born on March 18, 1972, in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. In 1994, he moved to New York City and began performing. He also spent that time working the Comedy Club and College circuits. Two years later, he moved to Los Angeles, where he still lives today. In 2005, he released his second album, Retaliation, which included a concert done by Cook at The Comedy Connection in Boston, Massachusetts. The album debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200.
