Biography: American alternative rock band Counting Crows from San Francisco, California, was formed in 1991. The band comprises Adam Duritz, David Bryson, Dan Vickrey, David Immerglück, Charlie Gillingham, Jim Bogios and Millard Powers. Counting Crows quickly gained popularity in 1993 with their breakthrough debut album, August and Everything After, which you may download in mp3 from our site. The album spawned the hit single "Mr. Jones". August and Everything After became the fastest-selling album since Nirvana's Nevermind. In 2002, the band released Hard Candy, which yielded a cover of Joni Mitchell's song "Big Yellow Taxi", and it was one of their biggest radio hits from the album. The band has also become known for it's acoustic performances, most notably recorded on the VH1 Storytellers disc from Across a Wire: Live in New York City.
