Christophe Mae is a French pop, folk pop, soft rock and adult contemporary singer-songwriter born on October 16, 1975 in Carpentras, France. He has been interested in music since his childhood and began playing violin since age of 6. In his teens, he learnt how to play guitar and harmonica and during that time he was very inspired by Stevie Wonder. He released his debut studio album Mon Paradis in 2007. The album became a great hit in French speaking countries and it was certified Diamond in France. The album spawned several singles like "On s'attache", "Parce qu'on sait jamais" and "Ça fait mal". The album has become second best selling album in France. His next album is titled Comme a la Maison (2008). The consecutive release is On trace la route that came out in 2010.
