Chevelle is an American rock trio that was formed in Grayslake, Illinois, the United States in 1995. The band composes of brothers Pete (lead vocals and guitar) and Sam Loeffler (drums/percussion) and of Dean Bernardini (bass, backing vocals). Originally, the band comprised three Loeffler brothers but third and the youngest brother Joe left the band in 2005. The band’s name comes from Chevrolet Chevelle, one of the cars their dad liked a lot. The band cites Tool, The Cure and Helmet as their main influences. Their style can be classified as post-grunge, alternative metal and hard rock. The band has released five studio albums and the most popular one is Wonder What’s Next.
