| Biography: |
English folk and indie pop singer-songwriter Charlie Winston was born in Cornwall, England, in 1978. At an early age he moved to Bungay, Suffolk where his parents owned the King's Head Hotel. His older brother, Tom Baxter, and younger sister, Vashti Anna, are also musicians and all use their middle name as a stage surname. Charlie Winston and the Oxymorons, commonly referred to as Charlie Winston are the band which Winston lends his name to. The band comprises Winston, harmonicist Ben Edwards and bass guitarist Elf Lord Taylor. They are perhaps most notable for their cover of the Spencer Davis Group's song "I'm a Man", which appeared on a television advertisement for the Volkswagen Polo in 2008. His first album, Hobo, was in 2009. And now you may download in mp3 Charlie Winston's debut album from our site.
