1. Celtic Frost was a Swiss heavy metal and thrash metal band formed in Zurich, Switzerland in 1984. Although the band changed its sound during its career, so it’s difficult to find one label for them, their works were also doom, gothic, black, death and even glam metal. The band broke up in 2008 and their final line-up composed of Tom Gabriel Fischer (vocals, guitar, programming), Martin Eric Ain (bass guitar, vocals), Franco Sesa (drums, percussion) and V Santura (guitar). The band established its name and has become a very influential one. In its turn, the band was inspired by Black Sabbath, Angel Witch, Discharge and Christian Death. During their career, they have released six studio albums, two extended plays and one compilation album. The last band’s album is Monotheist.
