Canadian pop/rock singer and songwriter Celine Dion (birth name Céline Marie Claudette Dion) was born on March 30, 1968, in Charlemagne, Quebec, Canada. During her younger years, which she spent performing in her parents' piano bar along with her other siblings, she also performed many songs by Ginette Reno and other popular Québécois artists. She has also expressed appreciation for Édith Piaf, Sir Elton John, Cher, Tina Turner and opera singer Luciano Pavarotti, as well as many soul singers of the 1960s, 70's and 80's, including Roberta Flack, Etta James and Patti Labelle, whose songs she would later rerecord. In 1997, Celine Dion released her 5th English-language album, Let's Talk About Love, which you may download in mp3 from our site. It spawned the theme song of the 1997 blockbuster film Titanic, "My Heart Will Go On". It is her biggest hit and one of the best-selling singles in history. "My Heart Will Go On" won the 1997 Academy Award for Best Original Song. Let's Talk About Love remains one of the best-selling albums in history with over 31 million copies sold worldwide.
