Biography: Swiss metalcore, thrash metal and heavy metal band Cataract was formed in 1998. The band comprises Federico 'Fedi' Carminitana (vocals), Greg Mäder (guitar), Ricky Dürst (drums), Nico Schläpfer (bass) and Tom Kuzmic (guitar). Originally the band was founded by guitarist Simon Füllemann, guitarist Greg Mäder and drummer Ricky Dürst. Their first self-titled demo was recorded in six hours and mixed in another four hours in the bed room of vocalist Christian 'Mosh' Ebert. In 2000, they released their debut album, Golem, which produced several singles such as "Where I Belong", "I Regret", "Two Seconds" and "Ruin and Rule". In 2006, they released their most successful album, Kingdom, which was their second album signed to Metal Blade Records with the same line-up. The album yielded the singles, "On This Graveyard", "Denial of Life", "Tongues Spitting Hate", "March with Your Battleforce" and "Sacrificed for the Wealth".
