Bush were an English alternative rock band formed in London in 1992. The band was also known as Bushx in Canada. The name was taken from the area where the band lived for some time – Shepherd’s Bush, London. The founding members of the band are singer/guitarist Gavin Rossdale and guitarist Nigel Pulsford. The original line-up was completed by bassist Dave Parsons and drummer Robin Goodridge. During their career, the band released 4 studio albums, 1 live album, 1 compilation album and 17 singles. The debut album Sixteen Stone was released in 1994 and broke up the charts across Europe, North America and Australia. Despite poor sales in their home Great Britain, the band reached success in the United States and in Canada. The album was certified 6 x multi-platinum and 6 x Platinum respectively.
