Bury You Dead (abbreviated as BYD) is an American metalcore and hardcore band from Worcester, Massachusetts, the United States. The band was formed in 2001 as a side project of the band Hamartia. Two Hamartia members Brendan "Slim" MacDonald (guitar) and Mark Castillo (Drums) decided to play less technical music and recruited other musicians to play gigs. The band quickly gained the popularity for their energetic shows and was signed by Alveran/Eulogy Records. Since that time the band’s line-up has been changing and the current members are Myke Terry (lead vocals), Brendan "Slim B." MacDonald (guitars), Mark Castillo (drums, percussion), Aaron "Bubble" Patrick (bass) and Chris Towning (guitars). The band has released five studio albums.
