Brian Setzer is an American musician, guitarist and songwriter born on April 10, 1959 in Massapequa, New York, the United States. He began his music career as a frontman of the band Stray Cats, a popular rockabilly band that became prominent at first in London and only later, they caught public’s attention in the US. The band broke up in 1984, however they reunited several times. Setzer embarked on solo career and released his debut solo effort in 1986. The album “The Knife Feels Like Justice” reached number 45 on the Billboard 200. You can download this album by Brian Setzer in mp3 from our site. In the mid-1990s he formed another band – The Brain Setzer Orchestra – 17 piece band playing swing and jump blues. Setzer has won 8 Grammy Awards in different nominations, like Best Classical Crossover album, Best Pop Performance Duo/Group and Best Pop Instrumental Performance.
