American folk and pop singer-songwriter Brett Dennen was born on October 28, 1979, in Oakdale, California. In 2004, he released his self-titled debut album, which contained his first singles such as "Blessed", "Desert Sunrise", "All We Have", "By & By" and "Make The Most". This album received critical acclaim and brought him a contract with Dualtone Music Group. In 2006, he released his second album, So Much More, which produced his well known singles, "Ain't No Reason", "She's Mine" and "Darlin' Do Not Fear". He achieved mainstream success in 2008 with his latest album, Hope for the Hopeless, which peaked at number 41 on the Billboard 200 album chart. It also yielded four singles, "San Francisco", "Make You Crazy" (Featuring Femi Kuti), "Heaven" and "Closer to You".
