Brenda Lee, birth name Brenda Mae Tarpley was born on December 11, 1944 in Atlanta, Georgia, the United States. She is an American pop, country and rockabilly singer who rose to fame during the 1960s and who is still popular. She is also known under a moniker “Little Miss Dynamite” after recording a song “Dynamite” and due to her low height. She has been inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Country Music Hall of Fame and Rockabilly Hall of Fame. She reached success not only in the U.S, but in the UK as well. During her tour in the UK, then-unknown band Beatles opened for her. Some of her most popular songs are "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree", "I'm Sorry", "I Want to Be Wanted", "Break It to Me Gently", and "All Alone Am I".
