Biography: Blues Traveler is an American rock band formed in Princeton, New Jersey, the United States in 1987. The band’s line-up composes of John Popper (singer, harmonica virtuoso), Chan Kinchla (guitarist), Tad Kinchla (bassist), Brendan Hill (drummer), and of Ben Wilson (keyboardist). The band rose to fame with their 1994 album Four. It spawned the hit single “Run Around”, which became a smash hit breaking up the Billboard Hot 100 (#8) and Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks (#4). This track earned the band Grammy Award and made a new record for most weeks on the chart. The next single “Hook” repeated the success of the previous one.
