American hard rock, psychedelic rock, progressive rock and heavy metal band Blue Öyster Cult from Long Island, New York, was formed in 1967. The band comprises Eric Bloom (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards), Buck Dharma (lead guitar, vocals), Richie Castellano (keyboards, guitar, vocals), Rudy Sarzo (bass guitar, back-up vocals) and Jules Radino (drums, percussion). The band originated as a band called Soft White Underbelly (a name the band would later occasionally use in the 1970s and 1980s to play small club gigs around the U.S.) in 1967 in the vicinity of Stony Brook University on Long Island, New York, at the prompting of critic and manager Sandy Pearlman. Their self-titled debut album was released in 1972. The album featured the songs "Cities on Flame with Rock and Roll," "Stairway to the Stars," and "Then Came the Last Days of May". The album sold well, and they toured with artists such as the Byrds and Alice Cooper. And now, you may download this album by Blue Öyster Cult in mp3 from our site.
