Björk Guðmundsdóttir known just as Björk was born on November 21, 1965 in Reykjavík, Iceland. She’s highly acclaimed avant-garde Icelandic singer-songwriter, composer, actress, and music producer. Her music style is very diverse incorporating influences from many genres like pop, jazz, ambient, alternative rock, classical, electronica, folk and trip hop. She is notorious for her eccentric stage costumes and broad range soprano voice. During her career she has been nominated for 13 Grammy Awards, Academy Award and two Golden Globe Award. She won the Best Actress Award at the 2000 Cannes film festival for her role in Dancer in the Dark by Lars von Trier. Her best hits are Human Behavior, It’s Oh So Quiet, Hyperballad and others.
