Billy Idol, birth name William Michael Albert Broad was born on November 30, 1955 in 1955 in Stanmore, Middlesex, England, UK. He is an English rock musician playing hard rock, punk rock, new wave and post-punk. He rose to fame being a member of a punk band Generation X and then pursued a successful solo career. During his career he released seven studio albums and the most commercially successful one was Rebel Yell of 1983. The album was certified 2 x Multi-Platinum in the United States and Silver in the UK. The album spawned several hit singles like “Revel Yell”, “Eyes without a face”, “Flesh fro Fantasy” and “Catch my Fall”.
