Belle & Sebastian is a British indie pop band formed in 1996 in Glasgow, Scotland, the UK. The band was founded by Stuart Murdoch and Stuart David. The debut album Tigermilk was recorded by twosome under their college’s label. After receiving much acclaim, the duo decided to turn their project into a full time band and thus they recruited other band members. The original full-size band line-up composed of Stevie Jackson (guitar and vocals), Isobel Campbell (cello/vocals), Chris Geddes (keys) and Richard Colburn (drums). The band was singed a deal with Jeepster Records and they released their second album If You're Feeling Sinister.
