Anthony Moses Davis, better known as his stage name Beenie Man, also known as Ras Moses, The Doctor, The Girls Dem Sugar was born on August 22, 1973 in Kingston, Jamaica. He is a Jamaican musician, songwriter and producer. He has established himself in reggae music and as dancehall artist. During his career, he has released numerous albums and hits and reached the mainstream success. In 1994 he released his critically acclaimed album Blessed which was made him a name in internationally. The peak of his career happened in 2000 when he released his album Art and Life. The album won Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album. He collaborated with such prominent artists like Janet Jackson (their hit “Feel It Boy”), Wyclef Jean, and many others.
