Bee Gees was a British rock group formed in Manchester, the UK in 1958. The band consisted of three brothers – lead vocalist Barry Gibb, second lead vocalist Robin Gibb and of guitarist and keyboardist Maurice Gibb. The Gibbs began a successful rock career in 1966 but in 1970s their popularity went down and then by many people surprise they turned to disco and that was the right choice as Bee Gees began to produce main hits for the discotheques of that time. Their breakthrough to the disco success was a soundtrack for the movie Saturday Night Fever. After that their popularity only rose but when disco era finished they had to changed their style again. At the end of 1990s they released several traditional rock albums. The band dissolved in 2003 after the death of Maurice Gibb.
